AND PREVAILS IN THE COURTS OF LAW

In fiscal 2001, Tulane spent nearly $600,000 for "Direct contact with legislators, their staffs, government officials,
or a legislative body," and in fiscal 2004, it reported $460,051 (IRS Forms 990). In 2007, Tulane lobbied
the Louisiana government for $10 million to supplement a $40 million federal grant.
